4 years agoProhibition has changed owners in the last year or so since it was front street. Kevin has really brought the music to Massapequa Park as well as his other venues such as The Warehouse in Amityville. Mulcaheys in Wantagh and Kj Farrells. Great music all the time. Friendly bartenders. Food is on point

2 years agoWoman behind the bar was amazing! We got there as they were opening and she was setting up. I never realized how much work went into getting ready for the night. Outstanding!

4 years agoQuaint, local pub with variety live musicians several times a week. Drinks on par with price and quality. Liquor is genuine, not watered down.

a year agoI hate to garnish Prohibition with twinkling stars bc then YOU will show up, in your dangerous Jimmy Choo stiletto heels, accompanied by your "Friend", wearring his Bergdorf Goodman puffer jacket. Then the "regular" chick, wearing old doc Martins, dancing wildly to the free live music with her "casj" dude in his Identical looking Costco puffer jacket, will step on your toes, and you will nudge the offender away, disgusted, turn heels and head for "Halstons", or whatever is left of the old "Bijou" , so that your attire can be better appreciated...

8 months agoWhat a great place to hang out mid-week and hear some great bands! Wayward Wednesdays features original local bands which is great! But really enjoyed listening to Emotional Fallout with their classic Emo covers as well! Friendly, attentive staff and a great vibe!

a year agoGreat Honky-Tonk! Cool atmosphere, live music, awesome sound system, beautiful bartenders. Great place to catch a cool band, a cold cocktail, and a bite to eat.
